The CYE Competition — short for Creative Young Entrepreneur — is a pitch competition dedicated to fostering innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit among today's brightest minds. It's a platform where aspiring founders showcase their groundbreaking businesses, pitch them live, and compete for a chance to turn their dreams into reality.

How it works

From application to the Taiwan stage in six steps.

It starts with an online submission and narrows down to the live finals in Jakarta. Pitching is in English.

Accuracy & Honesty

All profiles, pitches and presentations must accurately represent your venture. Any misrepresentation leads to disqualification.

Clear Differentiation

Your deck should clearly set your business apart from competitors — clarity and detail strongly improve your chances of becoming a finalist.

One Representative

Only one representative per business may take part. A single person must be the official contestant and presenter through all stages.

Submission Deadline

Submit before the deadline set by JCI World Headquarters. Late applications will not be accepted.

English Only

All forms and presentations must be in English — also the language used for pitching and training sessions.

One Submission

Only one submission per business is allowed, keeping the competition fair for everyone.

No. The competition is open to non-members and members alike — you do not need to be a JCI member to enter.
The registration fee is IDR 200,000 (early-bird rate) if you register before 1 August 2026, then IDR 300,000 from 1 August 2026 onwards. After you submit the form, you can pay securely online — bank transfer, GoPay/OVO, QRIS, or card — right away on the confirmation screen, or anytime from the link in your email.

The National Final is held in person on 3 October 2026 at APL Tower, Level 22 — Galilee Centre, Jakarta. Earlier rounds may include online elements.
Entries are judged on community or social impact and sustainability, business and international impact, innovation and originality, leadership ability, and the clarity and quality of the presentation.
No — it's a single presenter only. One founder represents the business on stage throughout the competition.
English. Application forms and all pitching are conducted in English, as it is the language used across the global CYE program.
